The flash bulbs flashed, the supercars drew up, celebrities stepped out onto the red carpet and the crowds were expectant. The sun was shining in the warm Monte Carlo spring sun – and the Amber Lounge Formula 1 fashion show was about to begin. As James arrived, dressed in a double breasted and open collar, he felt at home. A premier event in his social calendar, James was excited, the chance to network and mingle with the glittering guests from around the world, meet friends old and new, Formula 1 drivers and celebrities, enjoy the fashion show, live music from Justin Jesso and charity auction in aid of Race against Dementia. It was a privilege to be there.
Welcomed through security and into the warm smiles of the amazing team behind Amber Lounge, Champagne and good times were guaranteed at Amber Lounge, the premier VIP party venue of choice for so many around the globe.
The fashion show is iconic, with a runway built over the pool at Le Meridien Beach Plaza hotel with a back drop of the sun kissed beach and beautiful superyachts behind. James thrives in this environment, networking and soaking in the atmosphere while taking a moment to look around to appreciate how lucky he was to be at such a prestigious event.
Established in 2006 under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, this iconic Amber Lounge Fashion Show is the only event in the world to feature Formula 1 drivers on the catwalk dressed by Crisoni Monaco. Past Amber Lounge F1 Models include the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Daniel Ricciardo, and Valtteri Bottas.
As former Formula 1 driver and world champion Sir Jackie Stewart walked by to prepare the opening speech, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco took his place and the guests began to follow suit. The fashion show was spectacular, the auction awe-inspiring!
